For two weekends in November we were on a spiritual world tour of sorts. We were  in Madisonville, TN on November 3rd at Hiwassee College homecoming; and a week later we were in Murfreesboro, TN where we went to Middle Tennessee State's homecoming football game and on Sunday we attended worship at our former church Trinity United Methodist Church.

Tony was a student at Hiwassee (1990-92) and Middle Tennessee State (93-94). We both lived in Murfreesboro for 4 years (2000-2004). In both places we grew collectively and independently. Hiwassee was a great place for Tony's academic growth and spiritual life. We grew spiritually and as a couple in Murfreesboro through our life in the church and through the Emmaus Community. Both places mean a great deal to us. God blessed us greatly through our lifes experiences in Madisonville and Murfreesboro. Thank you God for that time in our lives.

We are heading to Murfreesboro this weekend. This is the first time we have been back to our old stomping grounds in a couple of years. We will attend the Middle Tennessee State University homecoming football game. On Sunday we will worship at Trinity United Methodist Church where we were members for close to 3 years. Our time in Murfreesboro was a great adventure where we grew as Christians and met some great people. We look upon that time with great fondness. Thank you God for Murfreesboro and the experience we had there.
