At 10:55 last night we were watching Dancing With The Stars preparing to hear who would win this seasons title. Mel B. and Helio Castroneves were awaiting to hear from Tom Bergeron who would be the champion. We were waiting too and then the power goes out. Our night would be spent without power therefore no heat and no lights. We did make it through though. Consider this to be what camping is like except we did not have to pitch a tent and the bed was way better.

Laura found this a great time to read by flash light and Tony rested and watched the candles dance. We did have hot water though. Electricity is a convenience we take for granted and we do miss it when its not there. But there are people out there sleeping without a roof over their heads and we need to be thankful for what we have.
